03 — Operations
Projects get attention. The rest of eCommerce — merchandising, promotions, product data, reporting, small technical fixes, the improvements everyone agrees are worth doing — quietly accumulates until it becomes the reason growth stalled.
We manage that work directly, so the store keeps moving between larger initiatives.
The work
Most stores don't decline because of one bad decision. They decline through a hundred small omissions: a collection nobody re-merchandised, a promotion that never got QA'd on mobile, product data that drifted, a report nobody trusts, an app still charging for a feature that was replaced two years ago.
Managed eCommerce means those things have an owner. We work as an extension of the team, with the same senior judgment applied to routine work as to projects.
Sometimes the best optimization is removing something.
